Care home seeks unwanted garden furniture for residents

Jenny’s Well care home in Paisley, Renfrewshire, is run by Scottish charity Royal Blind. Jenny’s Well offers nursing care to older people with visual impairment, including those that may have other medical needs such as dementia.

Jenny’s Well is a new care home in Paisley located at Hawkhead Road, constructed by Scottish charity Royal Blind. Jenny’s Well offers nursing care to older people with vision impairment, including those that may have other medical needs such as dementia. 

Staff at the care home are seeking any unwanted garden furniture like tables, chairs, Parasols etc.  They would be pleased to accept this on behalf of Jenny’s Well residents, to allow them to enjoy some fresh air and some sunshine as Paisley enjoyed a sunny and warm May holiday weekend.

Sharon Mitchell is a carer at Jenny’s Well and told Paisley FM: “We are a charity that provides care services to over 50 residents with blindness and visual impairment. Residents at Jenny’s Well need to be registered blind, be partially sighted or have a vision impairment that significantly impacts on their independence.”
